Norbert, firstly the forum is an open discussion area. Anything is allowed as long as it is not offensive - sexist, racist, religionist - or abusive. It exists for Morini Riders to express their opinion - you cannot be excluded because of that. Feel free to speak out. Secondly there has been some br...

Re: 2017 Club Rally
I defer to the experts. David Marlow describes it as a party tent - marquees have one or two big poles and are pointy things.
We shall have to organise transport as there'll be 30 chairs and 4 tables - they won't all fit in Arthur's motor.

The plan is that this year our rally will be at Marton Road Farm camp site http://www.martonroadfarm.com/ from the 12th-14th May. Camping will be free and there is B&B accommodation which you can pay for yourself. We will prebook 12 pitches for tents; please let me know if you'll be attending so...

Don't know if these are Sweeney Todd pies or the pub's own.

Friday will be quiet - well, with beer and chat throughout the evening Saturday will have a brief AGM - no, the committee doesn't like them any more than you do, but it's a chance to have your say - ...

Re: Kangaro sprockets
My X3 has a 44 tooth rear sprocket which gives a a nippy ride around town. These are available off the shelf (well, out of the catalogue), in steel or aluminium, from any useful bike dealer. You don't have to go to NLM. The standard gearing on Stradas & Sports (38 teeth) is way too high making 5...

Re: BIAMF
No takers for accommodation or a ride in from Bath so I'll see you there. We should be at the bottom end of Corn Street near the junction with Saint Stevens Street (or as the Bristol A-Z has it - St St St). The usual banners will be displayed so you should have no trouble finding the rest of us. Do,...

Yeah,
cock-up on the transcription. BIAMF is SATURDAY 25th APRIL.
If distance is a problem I can provide accommodation - turn up on Friday evening (fish & chips supper plus beer) and we ride in on Saturday morning. Ride home in the afternoon (they're not fussy).

Re: BIAMF
BIAMF returns on the 18th April! Back in January, it looked it would have to cancelled but I've just been contacted by the director who tells me it is back on & they want Moto Morinis to be the featured marque for the motorcycles. He's not asking for any excessive effort - just that we give it m...

Re: Classic TT 2015 - Celebrating our 40th Birthday!
Thinking that it will be worth taking a van over with 2-3 bikes. The ferry costs are cheaper, we share the hassle of the drive up & ferry, have plenty of room for luggage (my woman will fly there but will want her riding gear...) and ultimately have a rescue vehicle if any bikes fail to make the...
