Re: Kanguro X3 Rear Sprocket Wanted.

Apart from the earliest spoked wheel Stradas (which have 6 bolts) all Morinis use a standard 5 bolt rear sprocket fitting with the same sized central hole and bolt offsets. Sprockets are available straight out of the catalogue; obviously, dealers won't have every variation of their shelves but they ...

Re: Dutch Morini club 25th anniversary

I can't make this year's rally due to a septic finger but it's good to see that Brits are venturing over the waters and that it's a different bunch from those of us who went to Bologna last October. Morinis are bikes meant to be ridden and we should be getting off our island at least once a year to ...

Re: Dutch Morini club 25th anniversary

Time to settle final arrangements. I have 10 names - some not confirmed because they've not been in touch. We owe the Dutch club the courtesy of knowing how many will attend. Just turning up is impolite and could easily upset plans so please contact me if you are even just thinking of going. Remembe...

Re: Dutch Morini club 25th anniversary

Hi, I've been a bit slow in catching up with this. If you're in the MRC and in the UK or Eire please send me a private message so that I can co-ordinate numbers & travel detail. I say that because if you live on mainland Europe you don't need my help! But Irish & british members might want t...

I fitted progressive springs from NLM and have no problem with them - the ride is softer at small loads then firms up with higher loadings. It was certainly at least as good at the MRC track day last year. The springs fitted without the 8.5cm spacer and just a slight bit of compression (one hand eno...

Paul, tell us more! I have SS engine bolts and twice had problems with them loosening. Two years ago at Cadwell and this year going to Cassington. What difference does SS make? By the way, loose rear bolts are most noticeable at slow speeds (and knock like a big-end going), getting smoother as the r...

I'm not sure about old wire becoming brittle but I have had a number of problems caused by spade connectors breaking. The curled bit on one side of the "female" half breaking so it looks OK but isn't making a full connection. While you're at it make sure you have a good earth connection to...
