Re: checking on oil filter
I was thinking the same thing. It would be a shame to spring for international shipping for a few filters. Morini needs to start making more parts available via their site as well (not that you can afford the prices they are asking on there... how much again for that single side pannier bracket???) ...

Re: checking on oil filter
Thanks for the assist. I wish the answer would of been different, but better this than wasting money and time on the wrong thing. Cheers.

checking on oil filter
Hello all. I posted many years ago as an American, living in Germany with a perchant for little known Italian bikes, but grew silent for a number of reasons, mostly having to do with the fact that I didn't get much riding time. Well, I'm still an American but no longer in Germany, most importantly t...

Re: rear brake sensor?
Thanks for that. It seems an odd placement for a speed sensor, (compared to other bikes I've had.
Sorry for the late reply, got hung up with the holidays. Thanks again.

Re: rear brake sensor?
Sorry, slight clarification it's not on the caliper itself, but on the mounting bracket. Here is a picture.

Is it just the speed sensor?

rear brake sensor?
I was showing off my Scrambler to a friend this weekend and as we were pouring over the bike he noticed something that I had up till then not... an electrical line coming from the rear brake caliper. It looked all the world like it was part of some ABS sensor setup (which of course we don't have on ...

Re: Paddock stand - Abba
Thanks. I was hoping to find something like this as a good lift solution though. Can't swap out the rear with a normal paddock stand though. I wonder if I give them the dimensions if they can find one that might work for the scrambler.... I'll contact them and see since they've got a solution for my...

Paddock stand - Abba
I see on the parts compatibility chart that the Abba superbike stand (#72) is listed as fitting the Corsaro. Is there any reason this same stand wouldn't fit the Scrambler as well? I'm imagining the swingarm pivot is the same ID. I'd think any major issue would be the lifting height. Anyone know if ...

Re: Srambler-Offered at £6300 on manufacturers webiste
Stridey, shame you passed on the scrambler. They are brilliant bikes. I've spent a bit of time on my buddies Tiger 800XC and the scrambler is strikingly different, even though they are roughly similar types of bikes. I could definitely see having the scrambler along with a Tiger, GS, Super Tenere or...

Re: Small brake pedal
Well I do a lot of engine braking. My other bike is a 1700 Triumph Thunderbird which nearly requires it by the nature of the big lump. However, for a off road use and for brushing off a bit of speed on a corner or the aforementioned hill start, you can't beat a rear brake. Invariably I miss it with ...

Small brake pedal
Hey guys, been riding the scrambler for a while now and other than just the normal issues of figuring out the particulars of a new bike, and determining that riding it the same way I do my Thunderbird will end poorly, the experience has be a lot of fun. The powerband is a great blend of torque and h...

Re: Crash bars - Radiator protection
Well I've got custom stainless radiator end covers for the bike now (but they are a bit oversized) My main concern was when I use the bike in mild off-road / gravel road situations. I was planing on adding sliders but I still seems like the radiator is bound to catch the lions share of the force fro...

Re: OEM parts
Thanks for the replies... I never did see a note on the website about getting parts of any sort, but I suppose it makes sense. You'd think since they are going the internet sales option that they'd go 'all in' on that tact and sell it all online. Ah well, I guess I'll have to track down a shop here ...

OEM parts
Has anyone been successful in contacting Morini to purchase replacement OEM parts? I've sent through a few emails now for parts that I'd like to source, with no reply. I see you can order a few options and tshirts on line but nothing about parts. Anyone had luck with this?

Crash bars - Radiator protection
I know this is a long shot, but, does anyone know if there are crash bars available for the scrambler? I know there are sliders and I plan on getting a full set of them but I'm concerned about dropping the bike on some gravel back road. The radiator looks far and away the most likely landing spot in...
