Re: 3 1/2 speedo drive

Thanks for the reply George, The clocks are defiantly MPH (on the face anyway! inside could be a different story). My front wheel is stamped with a later date (83) the bike is a '79. At the moment I think the front wheel being a generic Grimeca type must have come out of another bike, which shared t...

3 1/2 speedo drive

Does anyone have a spare speedo drive that I could buy off them?

I'm pretty sure my front wheel/speedo drive is a Kmh one (probably ended up in due to crash damage!). I'm presuming the teeth on the actual gear on the wheel will be the same.....

Re: Speedo

Thanks for the replies, I'll have a look at the speedo drive as I need to take the front wheel out now to replace a fiber washer on one of the fork damper retaining bolts anyway. The speedo is aesthetically perfect, the face is clear and not faded in anyway so I dont think the bike has been stood ou...

Anyway the speedo seems to be showing around double actua...

Re: Couple of pics of my 3 1/2

Thanks for the comments and input guys :D glad you like it. I was going to do the bike red again hense the gold wheels but then I decided to go for something a little different, plus I'd seen the blue strada in the "touring on a 3 1/2" topic (already had the blue and silver paint!). I thin...

Rev counter

Hi All, I've just started the engine on my Morini after it's rebuild, all seems fine. I'm going to clean the carbs at the weekend as they've been stood a while! (didnt expect it to actually run!) and I've strobed the ignition so it's pretty close for now. My question is, the rev counter isn't workin...

Re: Couple of pics of my 3 1/2

Thanks chirpy! :D The master cylinder is a aftermarket GS125 type, 12.7mm bore so gives a much more progressive lever.
