LiFePo batteries are (very) OK. Can be charged with old fashioned charger, however any intelligent/maintenance charger, will kill them.

Those bolts will hardly save any weight and are also near to the center of the axle. So any weight loss will be futile. I like the Bags-Connection/QuickLock combination better, more practical.....

No force, gently pry open with a blunt screwdriver or better a plastic thingy used for car-dashboards. Be patient, no force, otherwise the screwdriver will dent the dashboard. Once open you can easily remove the microswitch and any eletronics store should have a replacement, it is a standard compone...

I have the motobatt. However, sometimes my momo wouldn't start.
