Re: ATG Binder

Hi Rick;

Your binders are put by as discussed. It means that we're now starting to run short - any more big orders and I'll be talking about ordering more (and you know what that means - a price increase...)

Good riding,

Re: Isle of Man 2025- classic TT and the MRC's 50th Anniversary

Thanks Steve - fingers crossed that we get a positive reply. They welcomed us last time, but then it could be in different ownership now...

Re: Classic Morini race bikes.

Well - Provinis' 250 fetched Euro 66.000....

I wonder if the Chinese bought it - a good reference from a heritage point of view!

Good riding,

Re: 350 Sport for Sale

Agh.... Steve - what problems you cause!

So, do I sell the Corsaro and buy this?

I'm guessing a wire wheel, disc brake - the best one?

Re: fuel light thermistor

From memory with my old Corsaro, the fuel level indicator is a simple float, so if the sensor is low the light comes on pre-start once the ignition key is turned. I'm no technical person, but the way the reserve light worked it always seemed as if it was operated by a bobbin in the tank, being lean ...

Re: coolant connection fix for those not in warranty

The factory did an upgrade sometime between 2009 and 2013; my first Granpasso (2009 model) had the hose come loose in 2010 and dumped coolant all over a road outside Croydon, my second (a 2013 model bought "as new" from the factory in 2015) had the flange as shown. The original design look...

Re: A very big thank you to this great club!

A belated thank you. Funsize - we're all volunteers here but our focus is on the Members (that's you, boys and girls...). it's always a pleasure to hear from our fellow members and to to know that we are doing it right.

Good riding in 2025, and maybe meet up somewhere in our anniversary year...

Hi Tim;

I'll check to see if there's one hidden somewhere in the warehouse as well... [Warehouse = drawer under the bed :P ]

Re: Welcome new forum members - introduce yourself

Hi I’m Lucien I joined just over a year ago. I’m based both in Suffolk and the Isle of Wight (it’s complicated). Are there any members in either location that would like to meet up to discuss the awesomeness of Moto Morinis? I would also include Norfolk and north Essex. I have a 1980 registered 3 1...

Re: Welcome new forum members - introduce yourself

Welcome to the Forum, Tim. A handsome looking machine - I'm guessing that it sounds as good as it looks as well! Hope to see you and the Sport at some MRC events once the weather improves (!) and perhaps even at the IoM next year at the Classic as it's our 50th anniversary!

Good riding for 2025,

Re: X-Cape 1200

Thanks for posting - looks like a serious follow up to the much missed Granpasso!

Is the SC silencer standard or a performance add-on like the 650 X-Cape? It looks as if it would seriously impair the fitting of a hard luggage panier on the (UK) off-side!

Re: Isle of Man 2025- classic TT and the MRC's 50th Anniversary

Steve; Following up on your comments; * Sunday of race week was the date that the MRC Founding Members got together. Admittedly it was the Mad Sunday of TT Week in 1975 and we're meeting at the Classic in August - but it's a more relaxed event and probably more in tune with what our 'small, friendly...

Re: 2006 Corsaro upgrade front master cylinder

Thanks for that - useful information for Corsaro riders, although I now have the ZZ version which might have a variation on the original set up (I should check, I guess!) Out of interest the brakes don't seem to be as sharp as on my earlier Veloce - or am I just showing my age and slowing reactions?...

Good on you - and thanks for joining the Club as well...

Used to live at Glastonbury - some great Morini roads out your way, it's probably time I got down there again - we're out of proper Cheddar!

Good riding.
