Re: Broken choke lever
The one I bought was £14.65 less VAT/postage so PM Tuning is significantly cheaper. The part code 8294 is correct.

Broken choke lever
Hi all,
Just started up my 1973 Strada and the choke lever on the right Dell'Orto VHB25B carb broke. The plastic on the left choke lever is similarly faded so may not last too long either! Any suggestions for repairs/replacements?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Moto Gymkhana Morinis
Yes it does look a bit bewildering from the outside but not so bad on the bike. The colours of the cones tell you which way to go but you do have to memorise the layout enough to know which is your next cone. On my first lap of the main course I totally got lost and sailed off to circle a cone which...

Re: Left hand gear change conversion
Having ridden left-hand gear change Japanese bikes in New Zealand in my youth then restored a 3 1/2 and got back on the road after a break of [insert large number] years, I'm still struggling with the right-hand side gear lever on the Morini. I hadn't really thought about a left-hand conversion kit,...

Re: tool kit
I'm putting together a tool kit for my Strada right now, can anyone recommend a spark plug spanner that will work on the rear cylinder without dismantling half the bike?

Re: Know a Morini-friendly mechanic in the Milton Keynes are
Hi Boris, Thanks for the info on the SVA, I'm wading through all the paperwork and it's great to know that is one less step. I have a Statement of Search from the VMCC verifying the age so hopefully that will help. And yes I have had a very helpful response on the mechanic front so should have the b...

Know a Morini-friendly mechanic in the Milton Keynes area?
Dear Tre e mezzo, I am in the process of getting a 1973 Strada in Sport clothes registered in the UK for the first time and back on the road. The engine was totally rebuilt 10 years ago however the bike has spent most of the time since in storage. I need a mechanic to look things over and get the bi...
