Re: 350 tank and panels please

Hello. Ian, Sorry, but I have only just seen your reply. A friend and I are trying to resurrect a road going bike from an incomplete engine and a Strada? frame. It has had a conrod let go at some time and the cases have been split by some brute. We have cleaned up the cases and the transmission but ...

Re: mpg

I get 15-15.5 klms/litre, on country roads. I tnink my gearing is standard. Speedo is 10 percent optimistic but is doing 3700revs at 100kph in top gear.

Re: Parts for sale

Velo James,
I have arranged a UK delivery address (with Tom Farrow) so would like to buy the horn, and perhaps the speedo if you could send photos, to grryroberts@hotmail.com

Re: Various bits 3 1/2

Hans,
Are your prices in Euros?
Is the black faced tacho cable or electric? The price for it?
Any idea of the price to ship the tank to Australia?
Thanks.

Re: 350 tank and panels please

Morini Jen, Thanks you for such a comprehensive response! I do have a K in the shed, and a '75 Sport, so I am able to swap tanks over onto the mystery frame to gauge the fit. Fitting some spigots to carry the rubber mounts wouldn't be a big problem. The tank you have looks as if it could be salvaged...

Re: 350 Strada year of manufacture help

Morini_ tom,
Thanks very much for that information. I will send Arthur an email as you suggest. I have had the instrument holder painted, it came up really well.
Just need to find the rear section for it now!

350 Strada year of manufacture help

Morning Folks, I am trying to find out what year this Strada Frame was made. Frame number is A2*07129. I have tried to access the old Netherlands site, but it seems to be offline. If anyone can tell what years A2 frames somewhere in the vicinity of this number they have, I would really appreciate it...

Re: 350 tank and panels please

Hello Morini Jen, I am in need of an early Strada fuel tank , but they seem very rare. I might be interested in adapting your K tank. I live in Queensland ,Australia. Postcode 4554. Would you be prepared to pack and post it to me, obviously at my prepaid expense? If so, could you post/send some phot...

Re: Stripped exhaust port thread

Would you mind posting some contacts for the engineering business in SA that has done inserts for Morini heads? I am in Queensland and have some damaged threads, as do at least 2 other local Morini owners. Thanks, Garry

Re: Balance factor

Simon,
Thanks for your input. I don't have any concerns about the work of this company, based in Brisbane, and yes, they want everything that hangs off the crank. I was hoping that someone had some info about the balance factor these motors originally employed, as a starting position.

Balance factor

I am considering having my motor dynamically balanced. Can anyone tell me the factory balance factor, and /or report on any factors used for sporty road use.

Re: Ball bearing replacing Timing side bush

I have found listings for a replacement Cylindrical Roller Bearing on the Danish Morini site. NJ206=30x62x14 and NU1007=35x62x16. Is the original oil feed to the Plain bearing usually blanked off via the sludge trap when the Plain bearing is replaced by a Ball or roller bearing?
