thanks i thought of that, but which glue ? the glue needs to handle the heat and vibration while the engine is running and i need to know how hot the engine gets to pick a glue !

can anyone give me the thread sizes, diameter and thread pitch for the sump plug on a 1978 3 1/2 sport engine. on modern jap bike you can get magnetic sump plugs. so if i have thread sizes i can use one from a jap bike

can anyone give me the numbers on the correct battery to fit my 1978 3-1/2 sport. it has a 12 N9 4B fitted which i think is wrong

i like the idea of being a volunteer at that show i can even donate my 3-1/2 for the club stand

just replaced the right hand side ( as you sit on the bike) crankshaft oil seal a very easy job

paul i have just thought if the main bearings had gone on one side the engine would be noisyer

i have a oil leak coming from behind the generator. can i replace the oil seal in the crankcase behind the generator without a complete engine strip down :?:if so what size oil seal do i need

when i purchased my 3-1/2 a few month ago. it came with a spare belt which i believe is new :D when i fitted this belt and checked the ignition timing with a strob light it flashes in the correct place :D but it it flashes in a different place every rotation about 3mm either side of the PMS1 mark on...

i have a sticking front master cylinder (grimeca) on my 1978 3-1/2 sport i have striped and cleaned the master cylinder and front brake calliper (grimeca) and the brake still holds on could the big spring in the master cylinder have lost its strength over the 30 years

i have a 1978 3-1/2 sport. the problem you are having sounds like the same problem i had with my 3-1/2 when i got my 3-1/2 a few months ago. replaced spark plugs BP6ES, plug caps and turned out to be the float hights were the problem ! it pulls cleanly until about 95 mph in 5th gear and is happy to ...

sounds ok for my morini.but the only thing i do not have is leathers just a set of modern fabric trousers & jacket that can and do zip together which have armour built in .will that do for the MRC trackday
