Re: Scrambler - Clutch Master Cylinder Leak
I've had an issue with my front brake on my 9 1/2. Ocassionally the lever came most of the way into handlebar before having an effect, a quick pump put it back to normal. This was put down to the fact the bike sat in bike shops for two years before I bought it. They bled the system and it was OK for...

Re: Fuel Octane
Tom, Thanks for your reply. I'm in New Zealand, the fuels here are RON 91 and RON 95. When I bought the bike, I was told to "just use regular" which is 91. I'm still running it in, so have not put it under much of a load yet. It runs well, no issues so far, but on reading the Manual they s...

Fuel Octane
I've been running 91 Octane in my 91/2 with no issues, the book says use 95, other fuel octane available here is 96.
Has anyone noticed any differences when using the different octanes?
Thanks,
Bondo

Re: New 2007 91/2
Hello Emmo, we had a wet winter here so didn't get out much. Suddenly warm and dry so doing more riding now. I haven't fiddled with the setup and the engine has loosened up nicely and very free revving. No mechanical issues at all. I haven't bought any extras, but would like to gel the seat. I think...

Re: New 2007 91/2
Hi Paul, I haven't done as many miles as I would have liked, its a wet winter here in NZ, but the bike has run flawlessly. I haven't been in the rain at all so haven't provoked any electrical quirks. I'm on country roads a lot, not much city time, so I find I like the idea mooted on the Cosaro forum...

Hello,
I'm resident in New Zealand and want to join up so I can get the ATG. Any way yet that I can do this?

Bondo here again,
Is there a way for us foreigners to join the MRC yet? Would like to get my hands on the magazines.

Re: coolant connection fix for those not in warranty
Thanks for the interesting Post.
I have a 91/2 thats only done 500 miles so far. I'm assuming this problem exists for my engine as well. Is there any time frame that it appears to be happening, such as around three years or just random?
Any info appreciated, thanks,
Bondo

Re: Front Sprockets
Guvo,
did you get an answer to your question or get a 16 tooth sprocket. I'm thinking of doing the same. Would like to hear your comments about how it goes

Re: New 2007 91/2
Hello All, I have my 91/2 home, have only done a few hundred miles, but all is going well. Its a 2007 model, some mods done, the rest to be at the first service. The bike runs beautifully, the engine likes to be above 3500 revs with any kind of load, in fact makes a sound like a very soft knocking w...

Hi Paul,
another question. Do you still have the original ECU, or have you had upgrades/changes to the original.
Thanks,
Bondo

Hi Paul,
thanks for all that, it's exactly what I needed. Will post here when I have the bike home. No doubt there'll be lots of questions.

Re: New 2007 91/2
Paul and Mark, thanks for the replies. I am definitely doing it, picking it up next week. I am not in the UK so information is sparse. If either of you is able to tell me how many and specifically what upgrades have been released by MM since 2007, I'd be very grateful. I can then ensure they are don...

Re: ATG
Adrian, Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I'm not in the UK so can't join the club just yet. I'd heard that there were some good reviews about the 91/2 in the ATG from inside the club rather than magazine journos. Thats what I was really interested in. I'll try and find a way to pay in Pounds othe...

Hello all,
I'm new to the Forum, about to be a 9 1/2 owner and I'm wondering how to acquire the ATG magazine.
Thanks,
