Good morning
Does anyone know if and where I can get hold of a white, nearside tank plastic fairing section? Not sure if the current cracked one is repairable. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Odometer Reset
I changed the battery on my GP and the odometer mileage reset to 0..... Very disconcerting when I went for the MOT and the DVLA system highlighted a lower mileage this year than last!
Has anyone else encountered this, and is there any form of fix?
Thanks

Re: Auxiliary Lights
Thanks for the response. My objectives were both visibility and picking out the badgers and foxes which are more common around here...... I hadn't realised LEDs were now legal. Would seem to be the best option. Your other suggestions sound interesting and worth exploring and look quite reasonably pr...

Auxiliary Lights
Hi everyone
Has anyone fitted auxiliary lights to their GP? I have a 2009 model and am considering beefing up the lighting but am not sure about where would be best to mount lights and whether there are any suppliers/models you can recommend.
Thanks

Re: Indicators
Thanks for the info Toggy. B****y expensive as you say. There must be some cheaper ones out there but at least I have a "last resort".

Re: New GP
Happy New Year to all I'm with Red S on those parts of the spec. Looking at the tech spec on the MM site, I see they only list the equivalent of the H83 version with the lower profile rear, although 2 seat heights are quoted. Otherwise, not a lot of change, although the blue is a bit different. Pric...

Re: GP FIRST RIDE QUESTIONS
Hi there I had the same problem - engine cutting out when you close the throttle quickly coming up to lights, or even worse, a roundabout........ The last time it happened several times was on my way to 3X for the bike's service a few weeks ago! I told them them to fix it and when I collected the bi...

Re: Tyres -Michelin Pilot Road3
Hi guys I've got the H83 and getting matched tyres for it was not easy- there seemed to be plenty of combos for the 150 rear. I settled on a pair of Conti Road Attacks - the original Scorpion Syncs I now understand are discontinued with no direct replacement. It's a bit early to draw any meaningful ...

Re: Front Tyre
I too was getting increasingly frustrated by having to check and inflate the rear tyre every few days so I thought I'd go down the inner tube route as well. My bike is the H83 with the 180/55 17 rear tyre and you can get the correct sized tube but my tyre fitter told me it was illegal to fit a tube ...

Re: Front brake lever
Got both the brake and clutch levers for 36.90 euros plus 9.40 P & P compared to 3X price for just one at £85. Arrived within a week, no hassle although website is in German. Looks like European internet suppliers for future spares.

Front brake lever
The bike fell over when I stopped in a lay-by and then discovered the adverse camber! But the only major damage was a broken front brake lever - the ball snapped off at the end. Perfectly rideable but thought I'd get a replacement anyway. Told that the RRP is £120 plus VAT and the best 3X could do w...

Re: Side Stand issues
Hi there A couple of pics I hope will help. A bit grubby but that's the chain oiler for you.......The gap between plate and ground when the bike is upright is about 3 cms. The centre stand is great. It only took 3X 9 months to fit mine so I don't think it's an immediate solution!. Regards Alastair D...
