Thnaks for that. Maybe mine has been chnaged for something non original, as the TUV passed the bike o.k. after I brought it over, then at the next check they pointed it out, but let it go as long as I chnaged it.

I bought this bike (WEG 673T 3 1/2 Sport) Wales, and would like to know if anyone knew of it previously? I have all the details from dvlc but so far no replies as the previous owners probably long since moved etc.

Thanks to you both for the info. My 3 1/2 is down on the log book as 17.08.1978, so must be just at the start of change over of mount.

Have just had the nasty black powder coate on my Grimecca wheels sand blasted. Does any one know the correct colour of silver / grey to use. The closest I can find so far is Hammerite smooth silver. Any tips welcome. Thanks.
