shims are the 10mm ktm shims , or harley vrod ones, plenty on ebay
if you are tipping the tank back for servicing , then make sure there is hardly any fuel in it .
The tps is very easy if you get a copy and a cable for the ducatidiag. cable is inexpensive.

Re: Corsaro runs rich
sad :| to learn of the demise of the jp website for reflashing the ecu's. probably due to all the scammers selling his free software online via ebay at inflated prices. It means then that if you purchased the license from jp and kept a copy of all the downloaded maps then you are ok, otherwise up th...

not sure what you mean. I think they are the "goldline" series but i'm sure someone else on the forum will know exactly what they are. The standard calipers were fitted to ducatis, benellis etc . Probably the spacing for the caliper bolts that you are after which at the moment i'm not 100%...

Re: Corsaro Std vs veloce
i wouldn't imagine so, unless you want the different setup on the handlebar end to match the veloce.
It's still only a set of hydraulic pipes pumping fluid to the calipers, whether you get easier brake action using the different setup i don't know . I'm sure you could upgrade later if you wanted to

Re: Corsaro veloce 'R'
the fork upgrade kit is about £400 on ebay.co.uk with all adjustments at the top of the fork and none at the fork legs , which seems to be a better way as a lot of the manufacturers seem to be doing this. on ebay.it you can get new radial calipers to suit a benelli tnt/trek which use the same calipe...

clutch casing covers old and new
noticed that the later clutch alloy casing cover has a sound deadening plate (large disc) fitted inside , which the earlier models didn't have. Must have been an attempt to cut down on mechanical noise. Looks a bit like a metal saucer slightly concave. Another thing i didn't realise was that the cra...

Re: ethanol and nylon fuel tanks
i think the reason you got no reply (the same as i did) is because the tanks are probably made by the same company that made the ducati tanks that were expanding . Plenty of examples in the states where tanks were swapped out and the same thing happened again, due to the tanks reacting to the ethano...

Re: ethanol and nylon fuel tanks
didn't realise that super unleaded had no ethanol as i just assumed unless it was stated at the pump then there was no ethanol in normal unleaded. Bit of a surprise that. :o Fine if you are in a big city, but out in the sticks when touring , not many pumps have super unleaded as it doesn't sell well...

ethanol and nylon fuel tanks
Some time ago i remember contacting 3x to ask whether the morini fuel tanks were prone to expanding just like some ducati nylon tanks were in the states due to ethanol in the fuel. The lack of reply probably confirmed that they were keeping mum on the subject. I've been keeping my eye out for a solu...
