Been a while since I last posted on here but still mostly happy with the Avio. I am however a little disappointed by the durability of the finish on the engine. Last year (after one year's ownership) I had the clutch cover replaced under warranty as the paint was peeling off. 3X were pretty ...

On the engine casing on the right hand side of my Avio, where 'Moto Morini' is machined into the cover, the letters are starting to tarnish and the paint is beginning to bubble up around the letters. Nothing major yet but corrosion on a 4month old bike is a bit early isn't it? The bike is garaged ...

That's a bit of a blow. He sold me my Avio and has been exceptionally helpful on the occasions that I have been in touch with 3x since.

Hope he gets fixed up with a good job somewhere soon!

Well, made it to the magic 1000 miles so my Avio has been back to 3x for its first service. Had a new indicator under warranty as it was a bit temperamental but other than that all ok :)

Good service by 3x too....plenty of cups of tea and they let me go and play on a Hypermotard for a couple of ...

I guess if this is the only downside I can live with it although it's a bit of a pain as, living in Bristol, I'm invariably stuck in traffic at some point in any journey and that's pretty much 1st gear territory all the way

I'll get them to have a look next month when the service is done and see ...

I've partly put it down to being new and me not being used to the bike but having to ride the clutch below 20mph just to keep the revs high enough to stop it lurching isn't great!! Hopefully 3X will get it sorted for me quick sharp! They've been pretty good so far

Will any of these updates apply to the Avios as well? Mine is pretty rubbish at low revs around town (got to be in first at 30 to make it useable and it's pretty lumpy even then) and often stalls on the approach to lights, junctions etc. I've put it down to being new and not run in yet but will have ...

I have my insurance through Devitts. I wasn't able to get a quote online though, as like you say, they don't have Moto Morini as one of their listed manufacturers.
