Kanguro petrol tank rubber mount for sale £20
I have a Sport but I bought this petrol tank rubber by mistake, I didn't read the "Kanguro" bit... :) http://www.ebay.it/itm/KIT-TAMPONI-SUPPORTI-SERBATOIO-MOTO-MORINI-KANGURO-350-GOMMINI-/141832469693 It's completely the wrong size, shape and attachment for the Sport tank. It was €42 but ...

76 Sport wire wheel rebuild workshop?
I have a 76 Morini Sport (big drum-brake) with aluminium wheels and stainless wire spokes, painted gold. They are starting to corrode and the paint is bubbling. Some pictures here: http://tinyurl.com/JPsMorini I would like the wheels stripped down, rims and hubs blasted, corrosion removed and the al...

Best motorcycle cover for a Morini 3½?
Any recommendations for a motorcycle cover for a Morini 3½?
And what size is the bike? I would say medium?
many thanks

Re: Bike for sale but V5 has the wrong colour
shame the drums are painted... pretty hard to get that off the alu Heh, yes I wish I'd left 'em. That paint isn't enamel though, so aircraft paint stripper or even bead-blasting would shift it. I'm almost tempted to do it, but then I might keep the bike for another year! It really needs to be ridden.

Bike for sale but V5 has the wrong colour
I'm selling a 1976 Sport (here http://www.mooses.co.uk/MoriniForSale.html) but I've noticed a problem with the V5. When the bike was rebuilt it was repsrayed from red to grey/blue but the V5 still says red.
Is this a problem or do I need to update the V5 before I sell the bike?
many thanks

Unusual charging light behaviour (1976 Morini 3½ Sport)
Here's a brain teaser for the electrical wizards. The charging light on my 1976 Morini 3½ Sport is coming on... sometimes. The regulator has been replaced with a Ducati reg which has a white wire coming from it, connected to a red light i.e. the light is suppose to come on if the battery isn't char...

Is it bog standard, or has it had a capacity increase? It has NLM oversize pistons, 375cc. If you spend a lot of time at that speed, try a 40 tooth back sprocket to raise the revs slightly. I spend most of my time at about 40mph... I have heard of poeple using lead shot or other techniques to weigh...

Reducing Handlebar Vibration
With the original grips there is a lot of handlebar vibration on my 3½.
Any ideas for fixing this? I have heard of people filling the bar with lead shot, or adding bar weights. Has anyone tried these?
Many thanks

My name is JP Coetzee, I live in Bristol and attend the MRC meetings in the Sportsman. I have a 1976 wire-wheeled Sport, recently rebuilt for me by Jim Mclean at Bikecare. Here it is on the stand at The Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show this year. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/6820/morinict8.jpg ...
