Re: Back Date
Wow, thank you, that was more comprehensive than I was expecting. I think photo 3 nailed it. The chap was saying his had front mudguard similar to mine, but the seat and rear mudguard differed, although his seat description was that of a original series model with the rounder seat hump. Bless him, h...

Back Date
I recently got asked a question I couldn't answer by an admiring passer by, as a sat having a coffee next to my parked up 81 Sport, and I couldn’t answer it. Can you back date a K model to appear an older spec? The admirer, an elderly Italian gent now settled in the UK, apparently and briefly owned ...

Fork Seals
Hello, I dropped my forks for my 350 Sport K1 to a local shop to get the seals changed. He's no experience with Morini's and is struggling to find replacement oil and dust seals from his normal suppliers. Obviously I can't see the seals (he tells me there are two in one side) but I'm trying to order...

Service and Repair shops
I'm not always able to tackle jobs on my 84 Sport, lack of knowledge (mostly), tools, a working spine (more often than not)and often enthusiasm (especially in winter) Having spoken to some local shops, none were happy to take on anything to do with the bike other than a puncture and fork seals. At s...

Re: Charging or ignition failure.
Thank you. I believe it's standard, and yes, the red warning lamp. Oil was OK before the last ride, but I'll double check, but it could be lose connection behind the clocks so I'll check that before anything else. The wiring wasn't all connected when I bought it, so I may have missed or loosened som...

Charging or ignition failure.
A couple of times on a ride today the ignition light came on under (reasonably hard) acceleration. No drop of in performance, and I didn't notice it at any other times. The battery is always managed on a trickle charger and has never indicated a problem, starter still strong. Any common issues with ...

Warning light bulb holders
I know it was asked a few years back, but has anyone found a source for the warning light bulb holder? 9.5mm or 10mm, twin spade end capless bulb holders. I cannot find the correct diameter anywhere ( before I buy rubber ones with a Pigtail that will do the job with a bit of work)
