I had my stator rewound by West Country Windings earlier this year.

As stated in the post above, they will rewind the ignition, but not the alternator.

One other question, if a rewind is required, I appreciate that there are a number of recommendations on here, but has anyone had this work done recently and does anyone know if there is anywhere local to me who I could use?
