Electronic fuel tap rubber membranes
Is there any news on the production of new electro tap rubber membranes. I would happily buy two if that helps with costs.

Re: Fuel tap overhaul
The club is (at quite some expense) in the process of having new diaphragms for the electric fuel taps remanufactured. These will be made in Viton so resistant to modern fuel compositions and definitely more supple then the 40-50 year old originals… They will be available to purchase in the spring....

Re: Starter motor clutch shoes
I have a set of nearly new clutch shoes and springs that I am not currently using. I am in Merseyside if you're near your more than welcome to borrow them for a short time to try in your bike and see if that solves the problems. I can't sell them as I will be refitting them when I have found a new c...

Re: Atomiser for VHB25 carburetors
Eurocarb have told me that the 260D atomiser is discontinued. So I think I will have to buy a pair of 260 K atomisers and have a go at modifying them. I am very nervous about cocking it up I think I will buy some brass tubing and practice drilling the holes.

Re: What`s your other bike ?
I have a 1969 BSA B25 Starfire which I bought to make sure my shed floor was never free from oil slicks. One of these days I will get the timing side crankcase oiltight but I am not holding my breath. It's a great ride but you wouldn't want to do more than an hours ride or the vibes will make your e...

Re: Atomiser for VHB25 carburetors
Interesting read. I'm wondering what carbs would be on a 75 model 3 1/2 Sport? I'm still waiting for it to be shipped to me so can't go out to the shed to check. Cheers. I think they would be VHB25 without a vacuum balance pipe. Sometime in the late 70s Dellorto changed to VHB25BS then around 1980 ...

Re: Atomiser for VHB25 carburetors
Thanks I will have a read of that thread. I don't mind soldering up holes in the atomiser but drilling new ones sounds like it would be a complete pain in the tailpipe.

Atomiser for VHB25 carburetors
I have VHBZ25HS carbs on my Strada the ones with the vacuum link pipe. I have stripped the carbs to a pile of parts and I have found that the slide needle is worn I will replace the needles but I want to replace the atomisers as well. The carbs are fitted with 260D atomisers but I can't find them fo...

Re: Refurbishing carbs, what parts wear
Right done a bit more reading I have VHBZ25HS carbs which have the vacuum pipe connecting the carbs. If I understand it properly the HS carbs with vacuum connector have a 260D atomiser The BS carbs without vacuum connector have a 260K atomiser. I am buying new atomisers anyway but good job I checked

Re: Refurbishing carbs, what parts wear
Eurocarb has two options for float needles hard spring or soft which should I order the original is solid with no spring.

Re: Refurbishing carbs, what parts wear
I have stripped the rear carb and spotted the atomiser is a 260D when it should be a 260K according to the blue book. It's also tarnished and corroded. Going to order a pair of 260Ks and a pair of needles plus float needles which are worn. Anything else I should order. Compress_20231220_161229_9396....
