Re: ABBA stand for Milano and SuperScrambler
I have used an Abba stand for many bikes over a number of years. As you say a game changer. If you have a lathe, or friend with one, I have found it very easy to turn up adapters for different bikes, even my 250 (a bit high when using the footrest bosses).

This for a ducati, no idea how you would translate that to the Morini wiring

Re: Import bike registration
I second the "approach Arthur for guidance". He guided me through the process of successfully registering my 250 2c after rebuilding it from a box of bits. It had very little history.

Ignorant American Unboxes 650
Ignorant in the truest meaning of the word. Might amuse or upset!

Re: Classic Bike, September issue
Brilliant! Love the photos.
I have done a few track days on the Indy circuit on my Honda 600 and when I had a speed triple. A fun circuit. Sadly the family won't let me do any more track days, even though the roads seems more dangerous.

Recovery going well, thanks for asking.
Ah I thought I had seen something about it on the forum, thanks for that. Brands Hatch is near me, I might have to go.

Re: They do crash well!
Thanks Arthur. No idea where the silencers originated, they came from Ian Lucas. I may just have to live with scratches, but I think I will try and take the sharpness off.

Re: Refinishing old fasteners.
I have used old phone chargers as power supplies, but they don't last long with me. I ended up buying a variable voltage/current supply off Amazon. A multimeter is handy so you can measure the current. This is worth a watch, informative and well editied: https://youtu.be/G-PtnwtOR24?si=mI2mmZlmCseyQ...

Re: Refinishing old fasteners.
I have used a Gateros kit with good success on my Garelli Tiger Cross and 250 2c (see my posts in the 250 vee section). Like a lot of things preparation is key. I use brick cleaner as the etching acid, works for me.

As good as can be. Fractured collar bone means some months of recovery before I am riding again, though.

They do crash well!
If you have seen my post about travelling to the Founders Day event, then you will know I came a cropper on a greasy roundabout. The 250 got off a lot better than me!
