Has anybody had an odd-looking “split” appear on an Avon roadrider II front tyre? The split has appeared after about 1500 miles - It’s approx 1.5mm deep (although in parts is much more shallow) and runs longitudinally just off the centre line for the whole circumference of the tyre ...

My Guzzi Lemans has the delorto remote choke which is a neat barrel-like thing with the same flip-up lever found on the Morini's VHBs, so another vote for a call to Gutsibits...
