Torque for the 500 center clutch nut
What should it be ? Wouldn't seem to be that critical with a locking tab washer on it, but I should get it right.

What's a good source for clutch shims (500W) in USA
I DO NOT want to buy them from the UK because in these COVID times trans Atlantic shipping takes weeks. If I have the right od / id they're not a standard McMaster Carr / Motion Industries size. Anyone in the USA know where I can get them here? PS STILL waiting for my "flywheel" puller whi...

Re: What's the clutch hub part number ?
Ah hah. Step one on the road to fixing this looks easy. My steel plates and friction plates are ALL the same throughout the clutch ! So I need to order the "special" friction and concave plate that go adjacent to the engine. I'm still not clear about the basket to hub shimming. I'll do som...

I fee...

Re: Does my first Morini still exist??
It's harder to know it exists, but you can't find it/have it! I sold a Velocette Viper in 1980 and all I know is it's off the road and in West Bromwich which is where I delivered it. Then my dad (long past) sold his Triumph GT6 in 1976 and it's still around. I actually saw that being driven out of a...

Suppliers and support
On Saturday 20th Feb. I'll take delivery of my first ever Morini, a 1980 500cc. I'm in Asheville, NC, USA. Is there a register of USA owners ? I have every reason to believe the bike is in great shape so I'm not overly concerned about parts support at this time. However, since I'm across the pond, d...
