Re: Hidden bolts
Not sure if this is in the right place - subject wise. My dry clutch rattles when loose - normal I guess. It's quite snatchy I see ref to wet and dry clutches on the strada? Can I just add oil to smooth it a bit. Are there softer plates available? Must be loads of info on the forum but hard to find!...

Re: strada mirrors
Finally sawed off the top 5mm of shroud to discover that it had an all encompassing socket surrounding the ball projecting from the mirror. So smashed out the broken mirror and inside is a spring and nylock nut. No idea how you could adjust it without removing the glass.
Ordered new mirrors!

strada mirrors
Hi
I have a almost original strada. 1985
Simple question - the mirrors on the ends of the storks are moving about - there is a shroud around I assume a nut? as the rubber is old, has it hardened so I cant get it off? could I just warm it up? |Same applies to a broken mirror
thanks

wiring diagram
Got a leak on the battery - only .2 amps
I want to find a correct wiring diagram for a 1985 3.5 strada
I think the whole bike is 100% original inc the wiring.
I can see lots on line but which is the right one - with starter
Any ideas

Re: Starter Motor Problem -
Still got the problem -
checked the voltage drop on the battery when cold and then when hot - exaclty the same.
The motor spins fine whether hot and cold.
I can only guess that one electrical component is not working efficiently when hot?
Any ideas?

Re: starter motor problem
Hi John
its really strange - perfect when cold but nothing when hot. There is the same voltage drop at the battery hot or cold. Motor spins perhaps a bit more slowly
It may be that a coil, or other compenant fails when hot.
I will try and change components one at a time.

starter motor problem
I put my issues on the bikes for sale page in error before - Now I need you collective wisdom. To recap the starter on my strada is great when the bike is cold, but a problem when its hot. Cleaned the "sprags" etc and for a day or two its was fine. But no longer. I know that the "spra...

bent footpegs
Riding my fabulous 350 strada - only just found it has 6 gears! I have adjusted the footpegs down a bit - tricky on the left - had to put on a jubilee clip to hold the brake pedal down enough, and then had to cut of a bit of the weldedon tag that operates the stop light switch. On the right alls wel...

500 for sale -
500 morini small.jpg I bought a 500 1979 which is fabulous. I couldn't start it easily. I am quite ill, and had Jim McClean in Bristol fit a new ignition system and rejet and tune up carbs. Now starts easily and goes like a rocket! Too much for and old man! So has to go. Its the dark metallic green...
