Replacement Reg/Rec
Hi, Has anyone bought a replacement Reg/Rec recently? I need one for my 500W but Doug doesn't have any at the moment. Any suggestions for suppliers? I've read the various posts on the subject but am a bit confused, do I need a Bi- Phase or Single Phase regulator? I really ought to know more about al...

Re: Rear Master Cylinder
Good News! the Gemini Karts master cylinder is identical to the original Gremica! I thought the pivot end may be different from the pictures but it turned out to be a rubber gaiter, which is removable. Only obvious difference is that it is finished in grey rather than black and the operating arm is ...

Re: Rear Master Cylinder
Thanks for the replies, I don't think either of the Ariete kits look right, I wonder if the cylinder has been changed at some time, although a long time ago, as it seems as if I need the piston with the seals installed as you get for Brembo's. I have now ordered a Gemini cylinder and will let you kn...

Re: Rear Master Cylinder
Thanks for that, I've also found the Gemini Karts replacement master cylinder which looks to be the answer to our prayers! It has all the correct connections and even the bolt holes are correct. The only reservation I have is if the lever end is too big to fit the space available. Has anyone tried f...

Rear Master Cylinder
Hi, I have a leaking master cylinder for the rear brake on my '78 500W. I thought it would not be a problem to get a seal kit as Doug lists a kit for a 13mm piston. But when I stripped it down the seals bear no resemblance to those that Doug has in stock. I have also tried Alex Luzzi in Sienna who h...

Re: Replacement Fork Tubes
I got a pair of Pantah tubes from Wemoto as suggested. I Emailed them first to check the thread pitch for the top caps and the depth of the recess at the bottom and they replied within a couple of hours. Then ordered them and they were delivered the next day. Excellent service from Wemoto. The tubes...

Replacement Fork Tubes
Hi, I rather stupidly 'parked' my '78 500w into a wall yesterday. I think the fork tubes may be too bent for Phillpotts to straighten. I have seen Disco Volante mentioned on the forum for replacements, but I think they have now ceased trading. Mdina are out of stock. On trawling the net it seems tha...

Re: STAINLESS STEEL CENTRE STAND BOLT
Yes, you are completely right the tube is as good as welded in my 350 as it is a UK bike. The bolt is therefore the pivot, not ideal but that's life!

Hello,
Still got some of these, I will sell for £18.00 each if purchased directly rather than on Ebay.

Re: 125 WITH NO SPARK
Hi Guys, Just logged into the forum after a long absence and am sorry to learn that you both still have problems with the 125H. First let me assure you that the 125H does run, my grand daughter has been using mine for a year now with no issues and I have also ridden it and found it a very pleasant l...

STAINLESS STEEL CENTRE STAND BOLT
I have recently struggled to remove a rusty centre stand bolt from my 3 1/2, so wanted to get a replacement in Stainless Steel. I couldn't find any of the correct size with a 10mm fine thread. I therefore got a batch made, by a respected manufacturer, as I thought others may have the same problem. T...

Thanks Steve, I'll definitely give one of these a go, as the replacement is 40 odd years old so may have a limited life. I

Re: 125 WITH NO SPARK
Thanks Hendre, I have today found the problem - the transducer was faulty. I went through everything and got it going briefly a couple of times on the original, but it only ran for a couple of seconds. Swopped the transducer and it started second kick! I have now run out of original transducers - in...

125 WITH NO SPARK
! have just purchased a 125 in quite nice condition for my granddaughter to learn to ride on. I was told it started but cut out in a short distance - it doesn't, as it won't start at all! Thought it would be fuel blockage as it had been standing a while, but it turns out it does not have a spark. I ...
