250 2c Engine and parts
Following the completion of my 250 2c I have a bunch of bits which are available. a complete engine that was run for 10 miles without the end feed rubber seal, so may have suffered oil starvation to the big end, runs well, good bores and great gearbox, both primary side and timing side covers have d...

Re: bottom end rumble
I fitted my spare engine today, (history unknown) and it seems to run okay, except from a little smoke from the rocker breathers. Anything to worry about? Also, how do I verify oil circulation.

Re: bottom end rumble
Thanks for the reply Mark, the egine is s I got it, no history. I didn't check the contents of the oil, but I am sure it is the big ends I can hear. bottom end rumble
Hi all, . checking out the clutch, I found that the rubber seal was missing from the oil pump, presumably starving the bottom end oil supply. I had ridden it about 10 miles before discovering that and replacing it. It has since developed a rumble on the overrun when hot, no noise on initial start up...

Dating a 250 2c
I have finished my 250 2c and I am now going through the NOVA process. I am not certain of the bikes age and would be interested to know any identifying points to prove its year of manufacture. Obviously I'd like to give evidence that it is 1980 so I can benefit from historic vehicle registration. H...

Re: DVLA registration
Hmm just tried the Nova form. It asks for lots of things I don't know, like who supplied it date of first registration, (or invoice details for purchase if not known) and when it came in UK . Do I expect an import tax bill on completing the form? how do they calculate it if I put nil as the purchase...

Re: DVLA registration
What do I do if I have no papers for my bike, I bought a 250 2c project and it is coming along well but I have no idea how to go about registering it. I believe it may be a Spanish import that has sat in a UK shed for 10 years. Can any one point me in the right direction please.

Re: 250 2c Clutch spring adjustment
Thanks for the responses guys. I've put a new cable on and smoothed out all the kinks in the routing and it's much more manageable now.

250 2c Clutch spring adjustment
Being from a british bike background, am I right in assuming the tension on the springs in the cups should be backed off to give a lighter clutch. They are currently screwed all the way in and you need forearms like Popeye. What is the correct setting. Thanks
