My 1980 Morini 250cc 2C needs new tyres, 2.75 x 18 and 3.00 x 18. North Leicester Motorcycles are recommending SAVA tyres. Has anyone any experience of these? I am mainly interested in GRIP rather than LONGEVITY, so what's the view of the forum?

Thanks for all info. in response to my request for a regulator/rectifier. One reason I didn't want to go to 12volts was I've changed all the bulbs to 6v Quartz Halogen, and the lights were OK.
