Lowering K2 footpegs
I've thoroughly enjoyed fettling my K2 into a fine road bike. But, I'm very tall and it's slightly smaller than I am, currently, flexible. Now I like yoga but it'll need a lot of practice! So, lowering the pegs the necessary inch is simple, I've already made the brackets. Routing gear and brake peda...

Gear and brake levers for an '86 K2
Hi all,
I'm after the brake lever and gear lever for my K2. If anyone has such things lying around I'd be happy to send some beer tokens!
Cheers,
Simon

Silencers
Hi all, I rang Feked today to ask how loud their silencers might be. Disappointingly for such an expensive item the answer was that no-one at Feked had any idea! How odd! I've discounted Armours because of the pencil shape, and I guess Feked as they can't answer a question. I appear to be stuck! Nex...

Re: Brevettata 'silencers'. Can they actually silence?
Thanks all, I have some stainless wool and silencer wadding on its way. Should that not work it's new silencer time. It looks like there are two stainless options: Armours and Feked. There seem to be divided opinions on Armours although my own experience of their Jota pipes on my old Laverda was gre...

Re: K2 no carb balance take off points
I did have take off points and I now have a sweet, smooth engine and a 1250rpm tickover. Wonderful.

Exhaust options
To update this post rather than start a new one... I have downpipes in black, great condition and only some de-blacking. My silencers look good but are super loud straight through devices. I'm thinking of replacing silencers or the whole system to one colour. Armours seem to be the only stainless su...

K2 no carb balance take off points
I have come across a bit of a quandary. I have a lovely Carbtune, and plenty of adaptors, including for those funny holes on the Strada where you pull out the metal plugs. But, on my K2 I see no entry point! Two bosses on the intake rubbers that look like they are designed for an entry point but the...

New to me..
Thanks all, for that advice about charging. All hopefully sorted now on my new bike. New tyres/tubes/chain and belt: a bit of polishing required and an oil change/filter clean then ride for the summer before I get round to a valve check and carb balance. A previous owner put a lot of work into makin...
