Not sure where your located but up here in t'north I used Richmond Classic Motorcycle Restoration in North Yorkshire to repair my tank from my sport. I had similar problems and Andrew did an amazing job to repair the pin holes in the very thin top panel and also replace the filler neck and then line...

Brilliant ...like all ideas so simple and makes me think why didn't I think of that ! It's things like this that make MRC such a great riders club. Thanks

Hey lads. Can't make the whole weekend but would be great to meet up near Leyburn on the Sunday if that's still part of the plan. Will be a 350 sport for me . So hopefully at least 3 Morinis there now !

I wrongly assumed if was possible to do this whilst in the frame and as I am planning on removing my rear head and barrel at some point on my 79 350 and would be interested to hear if you find a method to do so without removing the engine or studs. . Cheers.

More mid range is what I am looking. Reading the forum for refs to the capacity increase all report similar findings to you so I am looking forward to seeing how it feels to ride once fitted. I will let you know. Would be interesting to see the figures if you do get it onto the Dyno too.
