Welcome to the forum Mark.

There's a few Dart owners on here so don't be afraid to ask away when you have any questions.

Let us know how you get on with it.

My 500 SEI does not have a neutral light, and it's several years younger than yours.

I have never felt the need for one, you can feel when it slips into neutral with a bit of practice without having to look down at the dash.

The again, having neutrals between every gear also helps

I took my old one to a motor factors to match up the threads, The replacement was a SUPRA SOP58, think it was from a renault or citroen. I would imagine they are a fairly standard fixture for 70s and 80s european cars. The pins had to be bent through 90 degrees to fit the Morini wiring. It's been on...

A black SEI-V ?
This used to be owned by Rob Kenton, an old member of the MRC. and then by a girl in Warrington.
It had a handlebar fairing, stainless pipes and interestingly, a pretty rare enclosed chaincase. Still got them ?

I should think most of us 500 owners have the starter motor in the spares box under the workbench where it belongs  My bike was 18months old when I bought it and the starter never managed to do it's job back then. Leave it off and put a smaller battery in and increase the power to weight ratio...

Jen that was wonderful. :D I went to the Coupes Moto Legend several years ago when it was held at Monthlery (sp?) near Paris, a French Brooklands. The featured marque was Benelli and they started one of the GP racers up with a large crowd around it. I was in about the same position as that video was...

Re: ignitions

i had always thought that the main advantage with our system was that the bike would always run even with a flat battery??? please put me out of my ignorance...ade Not just flat, it doesn't even need to be in the bike :D Ran mine for a couple of months without one fitted. Of course the electro-tap ...

Spraying F365 over the top of ACF50 does not seem to causes any reaction. The ACF is oil based and stays on when wet, then there is a liberal coating of road gunk stuck to the ACF, then I spray on the water based F365 to 'neutralise' the salt. Not sure how that works but there you go. No sign of any...

Lowered GranPasso

There will be a new version of the GP available from March 2009.
The GranPasso H83

The 83 refers to the seat height of 83cm against the 87cm of the standard model.
This has a 5.50 x 17 rear wheel with a 180/55 tyre. Don't know if that is the same as the taller model.

My wrists have been slapped. I will try to update the diary page sometime this week. Contrary to popular belief there is not a team of eager club members behind the scenes ready to update the website with all the latest Morini news as it happens. There is only me. I will glady post any photos...

I have coated my XT in ACF50 and also give it a quick spray over with the FS365 after each wet run ( that's everyday this year then :( ). Some people rave about the FS365, others are not convinced, but most of what I read about the ACF50 was positive. It's expensive at around £13 for a spray can, b...
