I have an early Strada tank (the one with the cap in the centre) with the 'Castrol GTX' decal intact.

I have a bike with a 426 motor (501 top end on a 350 bottom end) and it goes very well indeed, great fun to ride, gutsy and direct tho a bit highly strung. It revs like a two stroke and feels faster than the 501 Excalibur I have although that is still in restricted form. I have a 375 with old style ...

The one on mine is a GS, the number is 6N6 - 38, presumably 6 volt, 6 amp/hour . . it seems to be lasting an unusually long time - it's been on since 2007 and wasn't new then, it still holds a charge . . the lights aren't wonderful but ok for what I do with it . . as with all Morinis it won't ch...

. . My 426 usually comes to life first or second kick with full choke no throttle but revs alarmingly high - 4000 or 4500rpm, I'm sure this can't be good for it. It's quite finnicky until it's warmed up a bit but otherwise runs and responds really well . . . Is there any way of calming the on-choke ...

I paid £750 for mine, (complete, low mileage) I bought it for the engine but didn't have the heart to break it when it came to it . . it's kitch and tacky and an ergonomic disaster but it makes me laugh and steers and handles beautifully . . the engine is a gem tho, even in restricted form . . .

. . To say the site is ''not for everyone'' it seems to have had a lot of veiws . . I think the Moto Guzzi is my favourite on there tho i was most amused by the Morini 125 with 1 1/4 badges . .

. . . I meant is it necessary to disconnect the battery when charging it. I was told it buggers up the voltage regulator on cars, I was wondering if Morinis suffer the same problem . . .
