Hi Ian,
I’m sure it is a 5 speed box, will double check though. I have sent you a PM with my number.
Cheers,
Norton

Kickstarter mechanism for 250h/500 wanted
Good evening, I am in the process of rebuilding a 250h engine (to fit to a 125kj) but I realized the starter mechanism I bought for it doesn't fit as there must be a difference between the 350 and the 250/500 dimensions/teeth. If anyone has one spare that I could buy or swap for the 350 one that wou...

Re: Shop full of Spares. Stock from closed dealer in Barcelona
Hi Ian,
Do you have the kickstarter mechanism for a 250h or a 500. I believe the starter gear will be a larger diameter and possibly have more teeth than a 350.
I would also be interested in any spares you have suitable for a 125kj or 250h.
Many thanks,
Norton

Re: Morini projects by an amputee
Hi all, Hopefully below should be some links to pics of the KJ when I first got it and started stripping it down. Shows the bodged silencer, cracked shock, spaghetti wiring, trying a extra large tank for size. I was hoping to be furlough in January to give me some time to do stuff but unfortunately ...

Hi Tom,
I have managed to get the majority of the spindle out and looks like it will match the dimensions you provided. If you still have the spindle can I buy off you please.
On another note, how do you add photos on this forum. I can't seem to upload any.
Cheers,
Norton

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the measurements, length seems right but I think the diameter may be to large. Until I can get the length of stud that's in there out I won't know for sure. At the moment it's resisting all efforts.

Re: Morini projects by an amputee
Hi All, Thank you for everyone's comments and offers of assistance/parts. I think that people can overcome most challenges thrown in there way if they have the determination and having a young daughter certainly pushed me to get as close back to normal as possible. I was riding again after 4 months ...

Re: All sorts of NOS 125 250 Morini parts ..even 350 / 50(1)
HI all, The main frame of the KJ is the same as other models, one of the great morini ideas of interchangeable parts/design. So I imagine that while the swingarm is different the spindle could be the same? If possible could you get some dimensions please Tom. Currently the swing arm is held in place...

Morini projects by an amputee
I have started this thread after interest in my KJ125 on another post... First a bit about myself. I have had a 3 1/2 since I was 17 (30 now) as it was compliant with the licensing restrictions, though it spent more time off the road than on for various reasons. I got it roadworthy again in 2016. In...

Hi Tom,
I have a KJ125 project and might be interested in parts 14 04 29 (swing arm spindle) and the clutch basket. And any other parts you think are compatible...
How much do you want for them and postage to Derby, England?
Cheers,
Norton

Re: Morini kj125 parts required
Saw that post as well. Looks like it wouldn't take much to get that one sorted. Unfortunately it's a fair trek from me and I don't think my missus would be too happy if another bike turned up in my garage. Hopefully whoever buys it is a member on here and we can compare info about them as there is n...

Re: East Midlands meet up?
Hi, I did try to get it posted in ATG but David must have forgot or there wasn't space. Oh well. Les emailed some 40 odd members in the area but I've had no replies off any. I shall probably try and go to a local VMCC meeting and other morini events to try and meet some local members (unfortunately ...

Re: East Midlands meet up?
Well that was a bit disappointing but considering the weather not surprising. Had a nice ride over from Derby, the roads were pretty clear. Got to the pub but it was closed so couldn't even get a warm drink while I was waiting. Stayed half an hour then gave up. Maybe I'll try and organise something ...

Re: East Midlands meet up?
Hi Tom, Look forward to meeting you at some point. I'm hoping if there's enough interest to establish some kind of network using email or WhatsApp so meetings could be arranged for different days/places and ride outs planned. At the moment though I have no idea whether there will be enough interest....
