My Ducati 250 'Desmo lookalike' did have a conversion in which the linkages passed through a hollow swinging arm pivot on needle roller bearings. The two linkages passed through in a concentric fashion. I have seen this on classic Ducati racers. I have no idea whether it is possible on a Morini. Cra...

Well, the master cylinder bore looks ok. I will talk to NLM tomorrow re: either a new piston assembly or a new master cylinder. The piston diameter is 16mm. If anyone has details on brake components can you let me know. It would be useful to know if this is a standard master cylinder off a 350. I as...

...moving to a 250 master cylinder
Guys,
Thanks for that advice.
I aim to take the master cylinder apart tonight to see if it is serviceable.
If not then that make the decision to go to a 250 cylider even more of a no-brainer.
Craig

Brake Master Cylinder help
The front brake is poor on my '76 3 1/2 disc braked Strada. There appears to be a jet of fluid coming back through the small port, back into the brake fluid master cyclinder reservoir. This occurs all the way through the brake level travel. I suspect the master cylinder seal has gone. a) Any advice ...

ignition switches....
I forgot to say, that the two types of ignition switch layout were confirmed in a chat with the NLM workshop guys (helpful as ever, god bless 'em). I'm not sure if both types are original Morini or whether one of the layouts is a pattern replacement.

ignition switches.....
Hi John, Well it looks like we have at least three variants of ignition switches... There are certainly 6 wire and 5 wire types.... And there seem to be 2 different key position layouts. I've confirmed that my bike is wired correctly for my type of 5 wire switch: Fully Anti-Clockwise, key removable,...

How many electric fuel taps?
I have a newly acquired '76 Strada 350 V.
How many electric fuel taps should there be? One or Two?
If only one, then on which side should the electric tap be?
Craig, Wigan, UK

Simon, I have just got a '76 Strada (kick start) and am dealing with electrical problems. Perhaps you can help: Q1: What are the main key switch positions? This is what I have on mine.... Left-most / (anticlock) seems to be OFF, key can be withdrawn. Key cannot be withdrawn in both other positions. ...
