Re: Tank range and fuel light
Current data on fuel consumption. Excuse mixed units. After a return trip to the bike show yesterday, M6 all the way, boring 50mph for most of it I got 50mpg. When doing spirited Sunday blasts of 20-30 miles of nice country roads I can get as little as 32mpg. Most tanks seem to be late 30s. Each tim...

Little bag on the number plate tail.
Hi does anyone remember MM used to sell little bags that went on the rear number plate/registration hanger? It's not in the accessories any more. Anyone got one? For sale?

1200 Scrambler brake pedal
Well it happened. 0mph, over balanced and had to lay the bike down. Now badly bent brake pedal just due to the weight of the bike. I'm looking into straightening it and also cost of OEM replacement.
But does anyone know if pedals fit from any other bikes or have a spare for sale? Cheers

Re: Ecu tune
Hi, all in it was £650. That included the decat and a Sam West doing the work on the Dyno tweaking the map. It was a custom map as there are no existing remaps created or supplied by MM. It may be cheaper now he has a map and you'd save a couple hundred if you decided not doing the decat

Re: Tank range and fuel light
HI - I just had mine remapped by Sam West Hammer & Tongs in Warrington (official MM tuning - trained by MM at factory with Ben Wiley from Amore Moto the official importer - so all legit) and de-catted. Brilliant job - much better fuelling at low speed and better take up on roll ons. Not sure if ...

Re: Tank range and fuel light
Wow seems much better than mine. I must stop using the fun handle so much! Although I've not done a steady motorway run of that long so would get better mpg I suppose. All interesting. time will tell I"m sure. Cheers.
Re: Ecu tune
Shaun, well worth doing. It's a different bike now. Much more what I expected. It's not cheap but worth doing. I'm going to look into getting a custom exhaust made through Hammer & Tongs by Pipwerx. Sam at H&T says they may then do a tuning package and exhaust. I'll let you know.

Re: Tank range and fuel light
145miles solid light, takes 17.5 litres. 38mpg. So run dry around 180?
However the last 50 miles were on a dyno!

IMG_1738.JPG Well, much as I love my Scrambler, the fuelling was horrible, especially at low speed which, with loads of 20mph zones in my town, was not fun. So importer Amore Moto put me on to Hammer & Tongs Performance in Warrington. Had a great discussion with Sam and we decided a decat and c...

Re: Tank range and fuel light
Cheers Chris. yeah I just need to do a bit more testing. The Scrambler has 21lt tank so light on after 14lt usage seemed a bit early, but not a problem if I know that and can rely on it. I'll do some more testing at different riding styles.... Also I need to get used to riding the torque rather than...
