Re: Gas Tank vibration rubber isolators
The rubber items can be tricky if not the usual parts e.g. manifold rubber.
I have had to resort to going to the local yatch shop and getting keel support bocks and carving what I can from them. Not ideal though.

Eurocarb stock many Dellorto parts so guess that’s the first port of call. Alternatively KMT supply jets .

A pity I have no more space.
Standard ignition? Are you getting a spark on both plugs? Is the pickup magnet 180 degrees out?

Re: Avon Trailrider tyres, suitability for a Kanguro?
I have been running Trailriders for over a year and around 7000 Km on a Coguaro. Front 3.00 x21 Akront rim 21” 1.85 Rear 110 80 x18 Akront rim 18” 2.5 These replaced Avon Distazias. It’s my understanding these were 50/50 road/offroad whilst the Trailriders are 90/10. I changed my rear sprocket from ...

Re: Clutch Lever Ferrule
Hi John
I have made a few cables up for various bikes and had to get “ferrule sleeves” from Venhill who list two, N8 (8mm) and M10 (10mm) which fit over the larger nipple at the lever. Not sure if this is what you need?

Good squirts of releasing fluid won’t go amiss either. I have taken to using a very small amount of Rocol Dry moly burnished onto the threads.

Re: Just stopped!
Mine had 175 ohms and ran OK but was not the easiest starter. Since a rewind in 2008 it has been OK.
I ought to measure the resistance from time to time U suppose.
Still you have a spark. Will it bump start? Did you fling out the contents of the float bowls? Any evidence of water?

Re: Battery
That is not my experience with my Sport nor my BMW airheads. If it can crank a pair of 500cc cylinders in Winter it ought to be good enough for a Morini. Is it fully charging?

Re: gearing
If it won’t pull top with a 40t rear it’s never going to pull a 38t. Get those carbs rebuilt check carefully the jets and atomiser specs and verify fuel taps are free flowing. Check needles don't look too corroded or worn and no muck in the floatbowls. Eurocarb sell rebuild kits. Watch Paul Compton’...

Re: 2023 AGM
Just wanted to add my thanks for organising the event. I thought the evening meal was very good too. Bread and butter pudding seemed the right choice back when the weather was less like Cordoba.( OK not that hot but I don't wear bike gear when there) The shower room was by Sunday an opportunity not ...
