Thanks everybody for your suggestions. I have decided to try Revell Chrome paint on my badge. I have seen it used on another forum for coating a Cibie light reflector and it looks superb. The aerosol is small and expensive so I hope it works. I will post updates on here shortly.

I have been in a few model shops but the chrome paint looks more like silver to me not really chrome.

This is proving to be more tricky than I thought.

My Sport badge looks very scruffy now. Can anyone recommend a suitable chrome paint that will work on this plastic badge ?

I believe they were fitted on the models sold in the USA.

It was a generic lever as used on old British bikes. About £10 at an autojumble or Ebay.

I've had this for many years and never had a problem with it. Handy on cold mornings to keep the tickover a little higher.

40 tooth rear sprocket and I think 95 link chain.
