Re: Armours Silencers
Thanks, good to know - I just requested an invoice from them, but was trying to call before paying. Morini pipes seem like an outlier from their offering, wanted to see if they were making them to order..? Did you order from Keihan yet? Would love to learn from your experience :) edit: just reread -...

Left-side shift linkage
The saga continues on my 350 - I've managed to break the link on the shifter assembly for my left-side shifter. It's the actuator arm that connects to the actual foot lever on the left side - before the turn-links. I tried to open the clamp a little and the splines have cracked. I see one that I can...

Oof. Was afraid of that.
I'll have a closer look this weekend, thanks 72.

Soft shifter return
Hi All, The previous owner of my 77 had rigged some return springs on the left-side shifter linkages (one on the front and rear connected to engine mounting bolts) and after a thorough cleaning and adjustment, I know why - the return of the lever after a shift is very sluggish and you have to give i...

Re: Anyone know about these gauge mounts?
Thanks all - they're actually exactly what I wanted to use for my gauges, but I didn't know about the rubber bits. Makes sense.
Going to hold on to these for now, but will have quite a few bits to offer up when this one is back on the road.

Were they painted red? Just curious about how much more painting I'll need to do.Mepstein wrote:I purchased one for my ‘74. Gel coat finish. Needed some work. Cost a fortune for shipping to the US and all the extra charges MLM adds on. No other choice though.

Re: Side covers for 77 350
NLM tacks on an extra 10% of the total for US orders - in addition to the added postage. Especially frustrating when the exchange rate is already against us.Daddy Dom wrote:Can I ask, what extra charges?Cost a fortune for shipping to the US and all the extra charges MLM adds on. Thanks George - has anyone gotten the fb ones from NLM? Wondering if they're painted or finished in any way.

Re: Anyone know about these gauge mounts?
Ah - thanks guys. That makes sense. Would love to use them, but 80E is a bit too precious. Will check w/ NLM or have a local cutter do a little bracket for me.

Anyone know about these gauge mounts?
Hi All, Getting my 77 back together and I'm planning for the gauges now. When I got it, there were no clocks, just this bracket - complete with the little Morini badge. Now that I've gotten my hands on a 350 speedo, I can see that it's drastically smaller than these mounts - they seem to be original...

Side covers for 77 350
Hi All,
I realize I may not be alone in this, but I'm looking for a pair of side covers for my 77 Strada. Paint not important, thought I'd see if anyone had a spare set before I just design my own.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Imola or Milan: Mostra Scambio
Holy Crap - the first day was fantastic. Those of you closer to the EU may be a tad more used to the idea of seeing so, so many Italian motos in one place, but I had a hard time keeping my composure. I started at 11:30 and didn't stop walking for 5 hours, not sure if I saw everything, going back on ...

Re: Imola or Milan: Mostra Scambio
Quick/last minute update - I decided to time my sabbatical time-off with a couple of swaps in November. I'll be hitting Novegro next week, which happens to be during EICMA. The following weekend I'll be further south in Sora for a weekend swap there that seems promising. I'll be popping into the Guz...
