Would you consider shipping the fairing to the US?
I don't know if the total cost would be prohibitive vs. value.

Re: LED headlight
An LED light source needs to be precisely located within a reflector designed precisely for it. With H4-style retrofit LEDs, neither of those characteristics are true. I have tested many those H4-replacement LED bulbs in several motorcycle headlights, and frankly found them unacceptable. The blotchy...

Re: Debating about a K2 for sale in the USA.
There was a 2C on Ebay that I was really tempted to bid on, but it was a bit far away. It ended up going for $2500; given the condition I wouldn't have bid that high anyway.

Re: Debating about a K2 for sale in the USA.
the mixture screws are 'available'. I thought these were covered for the US market? Can't say for sure about this bike, but since the introduction of emissions regulations nearly all US-market bikes had the mixture screws capped with brass plugs from the factory. But a small drill bit and a sheet-m...

Debating about a K2 for sale in the USA.
I found this advertised on Craigslist. Hasn't run in a decade, 20K miles on the clock, repainted, missing side covers, looks a bit of a shamble. $3500 is about as cheap as they ever are over here and they don't come up for sale very often. I do want a Morini of my own, but I foresee this one as pote...

North American Members Discussion
Since nearly all the traffic here is from the UK & Europe, I figured I would start a thread for those of us on my side of the Mid-Atlantic trench. Who here is in North America, what Morini(s) do you own, and what sort of riding do you do on it/them?

Re: 3 1/2 Strada for sale in the USA
It looks as though this same bike was offered for sale in 2012 & 2013 for $4500.
It's had 45 miles put on it over the last 5 years.

Re: 3 1/2 Strada for sale in the USA
Just ran across this ad for a 1984 K2 in Texas. $5800, with 8,300 miles on it. Very tempting, but the more modern bodywork isn't quite what I've been daydreaming of all these years, And boy, are the asking prices on these things ever climbing over here! http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/mcy/d/very-ra...

3 1/2 Strada for sale in the USA
I found this 1981 Strada online. I have no connection to the seller, and I have no idea if the price is reasonable or not from the ad. "Needs work" could mean anything. But, as rarely as Moto Morinis come up for sale in the U.S., I thought I would pass it along. Unfortunately, I'm in the M...
