Re: Strada Clocks Plastic Bit
Thanks John, yes it is just cosmetic. I did think of fibreglass and filler, but theres a fairly large bit missing, and I think it wouldn't look good. Good idea about the clock, though ive got one on the bars at the moment.

Strada Clocks Plastic Bit
Hi Sorry about the vague title! There is a piece of black plastic between the clocks on my Strada, just below the warning lights, and secured by the two hex bolts that secure the clocks. It just covers the clock steel brackets really. Anyway, Its broken, and I've failed to find a new one . Anybody g...

Re: 350 electric start battery
Just a bit of an update. The battery I originally tried in it was a 15913, which fits several BMW's, and fits the carrier perfectly. This is 18Ah but the standard one is only 100A CCA, which isn't enough to start the engine. It will turn over reasonably well, but I think what happens is the terminal...

Re: 350 electric start battery
I found that the battery on my K2 always spun the starter quite well and the engine always started straight away when cold. For some reason it spun it fast but would not start the engine when hot, even though one kick would always work. I have recently fitted a Yuasa YTX20HL-BS battery which has a ...

350 electric start battery
Hello all, Can someone tell me the correct battery for a 350 electric start? The spec. seems to be 18Ah, and CCA about 170. Ive seen reference to a PC680, but ideally would like a Yuasa equivalent. The Yuasa part finder says one that is 85mm wide, which I don't think will fit, so not sure to trust i...

Re: Strada Steering Head Bearings
Thank you all for replies. I counted 20 in each but not sure whether I lost some as they fell out! I was surprised to measure them at 1/4", rather than metric. Don't think I could get 22 in each, and agree with the "1 less than max possible" idea.
