Fuel: I use BP Ultimate or ESSO Supreme+ as they are both Ethanol free. For a few pence more a litre I prefer not to have this hydroscopic corrosive rubbish in my fuel, potentially causing damage to paint, tanks and carbs - especially on vehicles that are not used regularly.

I needed a second (spare) key for the locking petrol cap and took it to the local Timpson's outlet at Tesco - they had a fat book of key blanks, matched it up, ordered one in and a few days later cut me a working spare.

Try pushing the cap forward towards the button (from the hinged side) as you depress the button - the locking finger is in the front edge in front of the button so this should give it enough clearance to open.

I register one bike from Holland and one from the USA - got an age related plate for both. With the US bike I had the original Ohio title document plus sent a picture of the frame plate that stated the year of manufacture (it was a Honda), plus a rubbing (like brass rubbing...) of the frame number, ...

I have found that I have had much more success kicking it - and it does not taste that good when I lick it!

I have registered two bikes via this route - you will get an age related number as you have the original Spanish registration document.

NLM advised me to get a 3 1/2 (sport) kick start assembly or kick start knuckle...... The bike is currently without a kick start and electric start only.

It is to clear rear sets -let me know what you have, please!

The bike is 1982 if that makes any difference...
