Same with this- I don't have room for it so I've put it on ebay. If it doesn't go and you want it, it's yours

Why? They run just fine on BP7ES. Hmm. Just going by my own experience. I had a missfire at 7000 after fitting ESs which miraculously cleared when I put EVs back in. Maybe I had a dodgy one or maybe the better quality EV plugs mask a slight transducer fault. I don't just make this stuff up, you kno...

Last chance. I won't have room for it soon; if nobody from the club wants it I'll have to put it on ebay with no reserve...

No worries, it doesn't affect timing or anything. Having the slots just allows you to rotate the stator slightly to get the mounting screws in (the coils mask the holes slightly)- the screws want to be in the middle of the slots before you tighten them, to avoid any vibration cracking of the stator....

Any chance you could let me know what size jets, needle, atomizer you have in your 26mm carbs? Mains are 118, starters are 50, slides 40 I think. I'll have a check when I get home on Weds what the rest are (I used to know all this stuff off pat)! Airbox and filters are standard. I have also just fi...

Apparently it is a Frecchia one as the chain run is on the other side. Could possibly be modified for a Dart if anyone is desperate.

I soaked it in injector cleaner overnight. I don't have a compressor either, but it seems to be clear now.

Now I just need to find time to try it before it gums up again...

Thanks for all the info & ideas. It's been off the road way too long, now.

Many thanks!

I do have the manuals somewhere...

So, does yours run on both, but only on choke? When I get to the bottom of things I'll let you know.

Managed to get an hour this morning- got it running, second kick. It'll run with just the rear choke, but switch it off and it just dies. This suggests to me some kind of blockage with the pilot circuit in the rear carb. I pulled the carb apart and gave it a flush out. I wish I could remember- is th...

CAGIVA swingarm- Dart?

I have a brand new Cagiva swingarm, still in the original bubblewrap. It's steel, silver painted, possibly off a Frecchia. If it is, you would have thought it'd fit a Dart; HOWEVER it was given to me with a box of bits from Phil Smith, so why would he have given away a brand new Dart swingarm? Anywa...
