If you put the bottom pulley on with a different grove “ because the original one has worn” you are adjusting the timing. Count the number of external teeth and compare to the number of internal groves. It gives a form of vernier adjustment.

One of the attractions at the Rally will be a Morini Autojumble on the Sunday morning. Bring along what you have in your shed that you will probably never use and/or make sure you have room to take home something that others are selling!

Two black blocks on an aluminium plate sounds like a non standard ignition to be honest. All bets are off until the type of ignition is confirmed.

Splined are for 500s, all 350s are 2 flats.

Make sure you check the length of the rear sprocket bolts. The thinner sprocket means that they can bottom out inside the rear hub and do damage to the wheel.
