You should be fine with a non morini belt on a B pulley as these are closest to nominal and so are B pulleys.

Trip to National Mototcycle Museum

There was a club run advertised to the National Motorcycle museum near Birmingham on Sunday 1st October, Unfortunatly the organiser is laid up with a Kidney stone so if you do still wish to go you will have to make your own arrangements.

There are also mutterings in MCN about the new Aprilia 750 twin as a mini Tuono?, not sure if this is a bored out spin off of the 450/550 twin or a sleeved RSV motor, or an all new one, but they say that it is to compete with the 620 Monster which has massive sales. Might this push Morini into hurry...

Later bikes (electric start? plus X2 Kanga's etc) are timed using the center of the cam pulley - hence the reason for the rubber bung in the electric start casing?, and not the mark on the crank case, so it depends on the age of the bike. No need to move anything when fitting a belt unless the engin...

Good tips when changing belts: If you feel you need a bit of lube to get the belt on then the only thing you should consider is talc, nothing else should come near the belt. Before I take off the old one I always mark the edge of the original belt and both pulleys with tippex or similar so I can rea...

Yes absolutely, and that was also the advice of "The guru" Phil Smith who claimed that regularly used bikes could go for years and thousands of miles without belt changes.

6 -> 12 Volt

12v for a 250 and a Kanguro X or X2 is a different matter ( I think) as the Kanguro runs a direct 12v headlight whereas all the 250 is 6v. Best thing to do with a Kanguro X or X2 (X3s are 12V) or Camel Mk1/2 is to rewire to standard roadbike type wiring, but a 250 just needs a regulator( I think). I...
