Re: phbh 26bs carb for 500cc 5 speed
Thank you for the really helpful replies! I have emailed you Simon. It also looks like the entire carbs are still made by Dellorto to my amazement. Although advertised on some sites as being for two strokes and racebikes , the US Dellorto dealer who used to be a Morini dealer has said he could set u...

Re: phbh 26bs carb for 500cc 5 speed
Thank you Rick! I did notice some new entire PHBH 26BS carbs still sold by Dellorto but I wasn't sure if they were exactly the same as it looked like they were listed for racing or 2 strokes.Would you know if they are correct for the old Morini? If so it may be easiest if I buy new ones :) Cheers, F...

phbh 26bs carb for 500cc 5 speed
Would anyone have a spare PHBH 26BS carb or two they would sell? Or some parts from one - float bowl, top cover, slides, fuel banjo

Re: PHBH 26 or PHBL 25 for a k2 and recommended jetting?
Hi R1100purist, I'm a bit late joining this thread. On my '86 K2 I've got stock VHBZ25 HS carbs, running 115 main jet and 50 idle jet with a stock airbox and stock 260 CM atomiser. Mine is a US model, without the emissions restriction setup. She runs quite happily with modern fuel (Australian 95 oct...

Re: K2 parts book?
Hi R1100 purist,
My sincere apologies for the very delayed reply. I have now sent the K2 owners manual to your email. It's a big file so I hope you get it ok.

Re: Submerged Tremezzo
Hi Dom, Sorry to here the K1 suffered in the flood. My garage flooded a couple of years ago during the night and the tide line left on the K2 was up to just below the the RHS crankcase vents when I fished the bike out from 10cm water a few hours later in the morning. I slept through people knocking ...

Re: K2 parts book?
Awesome, this is some good information. I’m not a part of Facebook but is there a way to get that service manual otherwise? Also I’m hanging trouble on that Rome site accessing the specific parts manual. Hi R1100, I've sent you a message about my K2 owners manual. Fiona Sydney, Australia

Re: K2 parts book?
I dont think there ever was a K2 parts book and I've been looking. They were such a small production run at the end of the v twins I'd presume Morini just didnt bother? A lot is the same as other 350s, a few things different such as the swing arm pin is longer, nikasil bores, carbs, bodywork etc. I ...

Re: Sourcing bottom end spares
I obtained big end half shells not long ago for my 1980 500Wfrom Mdina Italia, who only have second undersize at present when I looked. Try https://www.mdinaitalia.co.uk/M250321.html or search Mdina for "big end shells". Fiona owner of the "red rust heap 500" Sydney Australia

Re: 1980 500w newbie project part 2 - the engine
Thanks John. I actually got stuck up in the north for 4 days till roads south opened. At least my K2 didnt get it's feet wet this year, but last year the garage filled to 1cm below the crankcase vents overnight :( - a narrow escape for the stator and flywheel from any inflooding. I hope to have more...

Hi Simon
Yes, please get a postage quote for me. I know it will be expensive, hopefully not too insanely so.
Cheers,
Fiona (Sydney)
