Re: Stanford Hall
Just been on the forum for the first time in ages and spotted this post. As far as I know John Parbury pulled the Stanford stand together when he realised there was not one booked into the event, John is also a member of VMCC Taverners section who organise Founders Day. But John does not do "th...

Who's owned my bike?
Hi I have acquired a 500 SEI, I'm curious to find out if any club members know anything of its history, I'm particularly keen to know why its registered on a Q plate,as ideally I'd like to get it put onto an age related plate. The bike is not currently on the road but is complete. There is a partial...

Re: Stafford
Hi, I've not been on here in ages, but I rejoined the club at the spring stafford, who's organising the autumn stand? I live in Rugeley so only a few miles from the site, probably available to help out friday eve, sat & Sun. Have an Ok condition 1979 strada (silver) that can be parked up for the...

Frame question
Are the frames for the 1982 500 SEI and the 1982 500W exactly the same? I know the styling of the bikes is different, but If I try to fit Sei parts, like the battery carrier, side panels, tail piece etc directly onto a standard W frame will I find that the mounting points, brackets, battery carrier ...

Strada seat available
I have a reasonable condition Strada seat available (designed to take 2, but you would have to be skinny), seat base good, cover OK but not perfect, I find the foam a little soft. I picked it up at Founders day in the Auto Jumble for around £50 if I remember rightly.

Re: side panels
I spotted this post the other day when I lost my side panel. I followed the link and emailed the seller. It seems he has sold his Morini and has got rid of the side panel template that he made. But he has offered that if anyone can lend him a panel to take measurements from he would be willing to ma...

RH side panel for strada wanted (late 70's model)
The RH side panel fell off the bike somewhere along the A6 this morning
, despite several wet hours spent looking for it we can not find it. So I am now in need of a 70's style RH side panel for my Strada. Has anyone got anything suitable?
thanks
John

thanks
John

Re: shock treatment
I have just replaced the hagons on my 1979 strada with a set of shocks off a Kawasaki ER5, a reasonable condition set cost me around £40 inc postage on ebay. They fitted straight on. The pair I got did not have the bushes in the top mounting when they arrived, however I took the ones from the worn o...

Strada Rack/carrier
Does anyone know where I can find, or even get made, a rear carrier for a 70's Strada? (1978/79 model). I listed on the wanted section a few days ago, and I thought I had found a second hand rack from an MRC member, unfortunately the rack got damaged before it could be dispatched. I could really do ...

Hi everyone I’ve just got a Morini, well thats not quite true I’ve had it for a couple of months, but now it works (thanks Paul). I rode my Morini (T reg 350 Strada) for the first time on Friday, then I took it to Founders day on Saturday, and tonight I cleaned it for the first time. Now it’s not th...
