Re: White wire from stator and other issues.
The NLM system has earths connected at the ignition coils and there isn't much to setting up other than set clearance between rotor arm and pick-ups. For that matter the original system had earth connections at the transducers too. Can't see what running wiring from the stator, which is already eart...

White wire from stator and other issues.
Putting together a long overdue project. Had stator rewound and rotor re-magnetised but unsure what if anything I need to do with the white wire coming from the stator. It seems to be (is) common to earth. Looking at wiring diagrams I assume I should use the later model diagram but bike has NLM pick...

Re: Front brake hoses
Have unearthed the originals. Will take them to Pirtek as patterns.

Front brake hoses
Is there any difference between the 500 and the 31/2 front brakes hoses? I'm putting together a long overdue project 500 and see braided 31/2 hoses available on ebay and hoping these will do.

Thanks anyway. It's the thought that counts.

Re: 500 Rear caliper complete or just the 38mm pistons
Got what was required. Now have a rolling chassis with a rear brake. Onward and upwards.

Re: 500 Rear caliper complete or just the 38mm pistons
Thanks. Seals seem to be readily available but not the pistons. I'd take either whole caliper or only pistons if you find either at whatever you consider a reasonable price.

500 Rear caliper complete or just the 38mm pistons
Need new or serviceable 38mm pistons or complete rear brake caliper for 500 Strada or info where else these can be sourced.

Ignition coil resistance
Can the resistance of the stator ignition coil be too high? I always see posts saying it should be above250 ohm & preferably 300+. Mine reads 499 ohm (admittedly on quite a cheap multimeter). It does seem ok when testing through a discharger. It's just a thought while I've got the stator off the...

Dart mirrors
Is there anywhere to get the "cup washers" or would they be better described as "ball connection liners" for the mirror adjustment pivots? Failing that is any supply of complete mirror assemblies? While I'm on here, my Dart has a colour co-ordinated Baglux tank bag and I'm wonder...

Re: Dart wiring diagram
I've put e-address in PM. Thanks. Checked the start button and cut out with continuity test and seems fine. Jumped a lead direct from battery to motor and motor fine. Doesn't seem to be any juice going to the start solenoid. Power to the fuses is fine as are the fuses. Really getting a crash course ...

Dart wiring diagram
Is there a wiring diagram anywhere for 350 dart? Just got the bike and took a carb off to clean. Put it back together and now it won't crank. Can't see any disturbed wiring so would like a diagram so I can do a systematic check and it's always useful to have anyway.
Thanx in advance.
