Re: Cam opinions
Thanks for the replies folks,
Andy, I'm lucky enough to have two sports, a 77 and a 79, the 79 has a completely stock engine, including cam, and the 77 is 402cc with an NLM grind cam, which I am led to believe is an L5?, it also has a Powerdynamo ignition system, so although it goes VERY well and is ...

Cam opinions
Hello Folks,
OK, my K1 Strada engine is going to be stripped, way too much play in the output sprocket.
I haver a spare sport cam which I could fit, but as I've never ridden the bike, I have no idea what the power characteristics are.
I like torque rather than top end urge, and I have a sport with a ...

New Dished clutch plate
Hello folks,
As above, are they available new for a 350 ?, does anyone make them?, Mdina?, can't see it on their web site.
I thought I might replace them on all my bikes as one especially has a clutch switch instead of a progressive take up!. End float etc is all spot on. I should say that ...

Re: Lecci start?
Ha!, perhaps, people do get carried away at auction sometimes!. Mind you, bikes are very cheap just now, across the board from what I've seen, definitely a buyers market. Doesn't bother me, I have my bikes because I like them!, lets remember "sell" is a four letter word!!!, or at least that's what I ...

Re: Lecci start?
Does it still have one?, a good question, I don't know.
The solenoid you can see in the picture, and it's connected on both terminals, with the bottom one going into the casing, so probably, wouldn't be too clever having a loose wire in there, although anything is possible.
It's the Iconic ...

Lecci start?
Hello Folks,
I have a pal who is thinking of bidding on a 500, his question to me was "do all 500's have an electric start from the factory?", my answer was yes!, am I correct?
Thanks,
Alan.

Re: Enclosed chain
How interesting Ian, I've never heard of that before.
It just so happens I have a pair of MZ rubber tubes in the garage somewhere, hhhmmm, something for the future.
Both my Sports are anything but hard on the chains though, but as I'm a Guzzisti too (sorry, I hope I won't be burnt at the stake?), I ...

Enclosed chain
Hello folks,
I was browsing the web looking for a photo of a blue K1 Strada when I came across this picture of a K2 with a fully enclosed chain at auction, has anyone heard of this mod before?, it looks quite professional.
