Do any of you have for sale or knows somebody that has it.... the wire that counts kilometers which is connected from the front wheel to the km counter of the Morini Excalibur 350?
Thank you! Ciao!

Ciao Joelelorenzo,
the partnumber is
46.03.73 (for Excalibur 501) and the part is called:
(Italian) trasmissione contachilometri
(English) speedometer cable
(German) Kabel Tachometer
(Dutch) kabel kilometerteller
Hope this helps
For your information:
We have the partscatalogue for the 501 Excalibur for sale, see
http://www.motomoriniclub.nl/onderdelenboeken.html
in 20-25 chapters, you see all parts of your bike (in groups, like engine, clutch, wheels, etc.) on drawings, next to lists with the partnumbers. The part names are in Italian, English, German.
Very useful!
and for the partscatalogue in particular:
http://www.motomoriniclub.nl/excalibur501gr.jpg
Cost: € 13,50, excl. postage to Italy (probably € 3,80).

I think, since this is Veglia you can also take the old one (if you still have it) to your local Ducati-Cagiva dealer and find a replacement...
In Italiano,
Perche e Veglia puoi provare anche prendere il vecchio cavo (se l'hai ancora) a un concessionario di Ducati-Cagiva, forse altri marchi Italiani per sostituire tuo...

I will try at the the local Cagiva-Ducati dealer in Vicenza, I have also e-mailed my request to Ricambi MORO.
The reason why I'm looking for this cable is that I found this cable used on
www.morinispecial.it but after just a couple of weeks it was broked at the junction right below the speedometer connection, so I've made a repair welding a little piece of the same thikness and square section,..the reair came out very good but when I mount the cable in, it doesn't work...doesn't make the speedometer turn, I'don't know why, maybe the repair is not good, maybe the mounting not good or maybe the speedometer is also broked. But the junction at the front wheel works good ...
I want to try with another cable first to see what is the real problem.
Thank you for your help. Grazie. Ciao!

There should also be companies, which are able to make such a cable to your specification. But then you should give the lenght, specify both ends of the cable and give them the 2 'screws', which connect to the tachometer and to the wheel.
Best is to hand over the complete broken cable and ask them to copy it.
