Dyno printouts
These printouts were kindly provided by Julian Radcliffe.
His bike is a 3 1/2 fitted with a 501 engine and the readings were obtained while he was trying different carb jettings.
Max rear wheel power is 42hp. Allowing for a 15% loss through the transmission, this is about 48hp at the crank. Not too bad for an air cooled, pushrod engine, and enough for 110 mph on the dyno.

Sorry about the quality, this one was slightly water damaged!
The small peaks at the top of each curve are caused by either a loose chain, or an out of balance rear wheel.
