New Hindhead tunnell"ride through"
Hi all.
Anyone that might know the notorious Hindhead section of the A3 between London and Portsmouth will know that this year 2011 that the final dual carriageing of the road will be complete. The completion of this section will I think included a 1 mile section of tunnell, the longest road tunnel in England, and will I think be a magnet for all lovers of motor sounds,so I'm looking at getting together a mass ride through of morinis,So I'm asking for opinions on this from anyone whom might be interested! Please leave any interest/opinions to this through this forum or contact me directly on david.r123@rocketmail.com

Yes that would be me, if its a White one...( to be honest I have only ever seen 2 others on the road and one of those was in France..)
I live next to Crookhorn school so not far from you at all..
I will ping you an email soon and perhaps we can get together for a coffee sometime?

Dave;
Up for this - sounds like fun. I'd even get my boys along to take a photo or two...
Looks like you're up to three Morini now - hardly 'a mass ride' but starting to get there!
Might be worth punting a few dates around?
Good riding,
CC

Re: New Hindhead tunnell"ride through"
Hi again Chris.
There's a couple of other Morinis locally to me,a 250 2c and a 350/500 hybrid that could be up for it, possibly a sunday in the summer?
Anyone else interested?
Regards Dave.

Just for the record.. the first unescorted vehicle to enter the tunnel ( and to be featured on BBC news) was yours truly on his Granpasso.... ( which sounded lovely on its own through the tunnel...)
Oh and finally met up with Morini500Dave so now know another Morini owner in the Portsmouth area

Hi Gedge.
There's at least 4 Morini owners in the area,Havant and Westbourne with I think 8 or 9 Morinis between us.We meet up every 1st Wednesday of the month, from now from 8 pm at the Cricketers in Westbourne.
Come along and meet us October 5th!
