Anyone for Cheese? - Starter Clutch Buffer Pieces

Post by jb666 »

As you may know the rubber bushing in the starter clutch mechanism can break down after many years.

As I've got a Dart and a Coguaro I have investigated a replacement for this manufactured from the material originally specified by Ing. Lambertini i.e. Vulkollan 90. The pieces have been produced from a 3D model that I generated in Solidworks and not just chopped up bits of plastic! The replacement items have been under test in my Coguaro and in another couple of bikes for some time and have proved to be robust.

The time has come to see if anyone else would like to get a set as my supplier has now sent me a quote for bulk manufacture.

I know of a couple of people interested and will be in touch with them - PM for more details. If I can get my photos reduced so I can post them I will!!

John.

Yep, I'd be interested. Mine are currently OK, but I know they don't last for ever...
