Corsaro kick starter spring

The kickstart return spring has broken on my bike today. Looking at the parts list the spring looks very similar to the item on the later 350/500 of the seventies. I won't be stripping it to check for a a day or three so does anyone here know if it is the same item? Longshot but would be handy if it were true!
